The Tens imply, fixed, culminated, completed Force and the Rider-Waite-Smith card concentrates its imagery on the phenomena that all happiness comes from the above. Hence the rainbow band of Cups. This concept is opposed to the mundane belief that "Accumulation of Things" makes one happy. The idea here is that Happiness created us as it's material expression, rather than the gathering of material makes us happy, which is what the adults are thinking. However, when observing a child playing, one may understand that happiness is what we are, not what we seek. The God name for Kether is Eheieh, meaning "I Will Be", your God Name is "I Am Being".

The Connolly Tarot, 10 of Cups, displays all 10 cups in a crescent shaped rainbow with a child sitting on it, implying innocence and/or the Cherub Cupid. The Sun is shown as a red circle in the sky (red being the color of passion). Because it is a Ten, it is the total end of a cycle of things previously known. A new cycle/phase begins. On this card a lover is now proposing marriage, beginning a new phase in the relationship.

The image seems different in the Connolly 10 of Cups card, yet it has all the meanings of the Rider-Waite-Smith Card, as such, it states that this is as happy as you can be in the present cycle, which is ending soon. This doesn't mean we won't be happy in the next cycle; it may state that there are higher states of happiness to be reached. Hence, it would benefit you to slow down and appreciate life around you and enjoy the beautiful happiness of the day. We've yet to remember ourselves as the "Heavenly Human".

In ordinary matters, the divined meaning of the Rider-Waite-Smith and 10 of Cups card is, matters arranged as wished (by the Unconscious), permanent and lasting success. This meaning of material success is reinforced if the 10 of Cup's lands on the position of "Beneath you" or "of House and Home", on a Celtic Cross layout. In fact, which would be paramount for this card, as it is a 10h Sephiroth- Malkuth (Kingdom) in an Earthly existence position.

When one is viewing the Ten's, one must remember that in Qabalistic gematria, 1+0=1, therefore, we are cycling back to the beginning of something new that is willed by the Spirit. The 10 may mean satiety, but not to us, just something we desire to achieve in the material world. We will move on to even greater things as constant transformations are the way of Life.
